I'm very proud of my family, thou I feel that I'm the black sheep of the group. I grew up in a family of Valedictorians and Salutatorians, I was the only "normal" one. We all grew up very independent. The only time we talk or see each other is at Christmas time. It's sorta sad that we don't talk more, but I do know that if I need them they will come running.
I don't know what caused my Parents to name each one of us starting with R's, but I know that from being the youngest my name was officially: Rod-Russ-Randy-Rorry-You. The cool thing about it was that I was usually doing something wrong and it just took them a lot longer to tell me to stop it. My sister's name is not spelled wrong, for some unknown reason they left out an H. When she went to college, she got into a fight with one of her roommates and the roommate spelled her name wrong from then on saying, "The H is for Hateable!"
I have three brothers and one sister. Only one of my brothers is married. This is a picture of us at Christmas time 1989. All three of my Brothers were living in New York City at the time, so we all flew out to be with them. (Nothin' like Christmas in the subway!)
PICTURE:Russ (crouched down at the bottom), Randy (red scarf), Ronda (biggest smile), Me (furry guy in back), Shou-ping (Rod's wife) & Rod (book bag)
This is a picture of us at Christmas time 1990. It is still taken in New York. Rod and Shou-ping had just had my nephew.
PICTURE:Randy (Looking pissed, as always), Shou-ping (Holding baby, I guess we can reproduce.), Christopher (The baby), My Dad (Looking for prunes), Diva (Ugly little rat dog only showing rear end. That is her best side.), Rod (Watching TV), Russ (Trying to look festive in his red vest) & Ronda (Trying not to watch TV, WOW That Perry Como musta had one hell of a Christmas Special on!)
This is a picture of Rod's family. It came in my 1998 Christmas Card, not really a Christmas picture thou. I guess that's about as festive as you get in Arizona! They moved from New York City around 1995, so Chris didn't have to go to public schools in New York. Everyone looks so happy, except Shou-ping. I think she knows she is gonna hafta send these suckers out.
PICTURE:Rodney (Smiling shyly, and holding in his stomach), Shou-ping (Looking a little intense, family photos always seem to have that effect.), Christopher (Man, has he grown! Don't worry he dosen't have an overbite, just a goofy smile.)
Now for the dirt on my sister! This is a picture I took of her and her boyfriend back in Spring 1998. We were out at the river walking their dogs. I don't think she'll ever have kids, so I snapped a picture of the dogs. They have three right now, but they usually have four running around. She lives in North Carolina, and works at Gallxo-Welcome as a pharmacist. Her and Tony have been together forever, but they have never gotten married. They have a beautiful house, I was gonna put a picture up, but it already got broken into once.
PICTURE 1:Ronda (If you can't tell, you need glasses), Tony (Looking at Ronda as if she is all he needs in his life.) PICTURE 2:Ripley (Black with white trim, named after Sigourney Weaver's character in Aliens.) Pigoley (White with black spots, named after some T.V. newscaster lady.) Kirby (Little brown guy, named after some baseball player, or a vacuum cleaner.)
This is a picture of one of my best friends. He had this old beat up Toyota that we would ride around in and buy records. His name is Keevin, not kidding, and he has sense grown up to be a stock broker in L.A. We still talk to each other about once a month, but We have lost touch a little after he gave up Heavy Metal music.
This picture shows the best of times with Keevin. He is laying in his car with the passenger seat up, trying to fix his speaker wires, so the tunes could go on. If you look in the back seat you will see a Rolling Stone Records bag. This is one of the best Heavy Metal record stores in the area. To this day, when ever he is in town we do a "stones run." I'm also sure that the VCR tapes on the floor are bootleged MTV Headbanger's Ball copies.
This is a picture of my two friends, Mark and Debbie Seidler. I meet them after they were married. They now have two cute kids.
This picture shows them with Duke Nuken(the video game guy). I miss them a lot because the moved to Florida a couple years ago, and I haven't had the chance to vist them. Mark works in customer support in c computer company, so when I call them He never wants to talk. Me and Debbie end up on the phone for hours.
